Details
The journey of Jadavpur Union Parishad started from 1st July 1961. Jadavpur Union is one of the Unions of Dhamrai Upazila. Chairman was called village president in 1961. Md. Kalim Uddin Sarkar was elected as the first village president. Then Kalim Uddin served as President. In 1965, Abdul Jalil was elected the first union council chairman during the then Pakistan period and he was the chairman of the union during the liberation war.
He served as the chairman of Jadavpur Union Parishad for 23 years. Currently Jadavpur Union Parishad consists of 29 small and big villages.
